I love this time of year. It's still warm, but the air gets crisp.
The leaves are still green, but they are just a bit raspier in the breeze.
Of course, this is a northern phenomenon, so for those of you in warmer climates, close your eyes and use your imagination.
There's a sense of wonder this time of year. What will school be like? Will football be the same with all the new rules? And thank God for football for those of us who can no longer hope for baseball playoffs.
What will Halloween be like? Will there be a lot of kids?
How much snow will we get?
I love this time of year because leaving the windows at least partially open 24/7 is a reality.
And being naked is that much more comfortable.
It's a good time to reflect on the summer past, and start making holiday plans.... or at least pre-plans.
A friend asked me to post something happy. I suck at following directions. I hope this fits the bill. :)
Holiday plans and nakedness! Happy, Happy, Happy!
ReplyDeleteLife is, indeed, quite good. Lol
ReplyDeleteHow refreshing, Senor Foxx, viewing the seasonal cusp through your eyes and feeling a sense of exhilaration as autumn and its bounty change not only the landscape but seemingly your mind-set and outlook. How lovely, change, and how you look forward to embracing it. One question, though. I trained my binoculars on your living room picture window and that rite-of-spring happy-dance you were doing, twirling and pirouetting stark naked (nice, firm glutes btw).... was that a variant of a Miley Twerk or your pixie dust rendition of The Twist outta the 60s? Oh yeah one other question. Was that Goliath Tree bouncing on the couch wearing identical attire? He too looked as enthusiastic and as apple-cheeked as you.
ReplyDeleteIt was not identical. he was wearing a pink cumber bun and I was wearing a salmon cumber bun. Big difference I will have you know! If only Ediez was here to explain it!
DeleteI didn't notice the cummerbund (or was it a waist sash?) from my voyeuristic perch. You two seemed so happy and playful.
ReplyDeleteThis will mean little to you since men of your age start to lose nuance of color but pink has a reddish hue to it and salmon an orange (and is more closely to coral and peach).
It's not that I've lost my sense of nuances color, it's that I don't care.
DeleteBut, if wearing a certain color somehow coaxes the clothes off a beautiful woman, then gimme a salmon shirt... just don't make me pick it out.
You're losing ur touch Joey. It will take imagination beyond wearing a fruity shirt and far greater ingenuity to achieve said goal with beautiful woman. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteAnd it goes without saying you have minimal patience when it comes to selecting an outfit.
Hence the nakedness
